Re: Blink 2019 - Lysebotn Opp - Races

Impressive double poling by Musgrave. He deliberately got rid of a lot of muscle mass and it's working well, but how many times do we see 'summer stars' fade come the winter. Therese Johaug is so much in a class of her own on uphills like this that pundits are seriously suggesting she should join t...

Re: Blink 2019 - Lysebotn Opp - Races

Apparently there was a double poling only race for the first time. Anyone have a video link for those races?

Re: NEW CLASSIC ROLLER SKIS

I recently purchased a pair of Swenor classic roller skis. They are Swenor Finstep model and I have #3 slow wheels and a calf brake. Have to say they are terrific to ski on. Being composite and for lighter skiers they have a nice flex to them, the wheels are slow and controllable, and the brake is ...

Red flexor and rollerski drop

Turning in the Jenex 150 RC’s can be difficult since they’re so heavy. Compounding this is the massive drop from my binding. Would installing the red flexor in the binding improve control by reducing rollerski drop from the boot? Follow up question...is installing the red flexor difficult?

Re: Anyone rollerskiing yet?

I fractured my elbow (radial head) 10-weeks ago after a fall (while running). It's actually the 3rd time I've fractured this same elbow. Let's just say we don't quite heal the same as we age.

Re: World Cup 2018/2019

Klæbo can win all the sprints he wants, he won't be crowned king until he can win a 50k at the WC, olympics or at least Holmenkollen. I've been quite impressed with the all-around performances of Natalya Nepryayeva and Alexander Bolshunov, both are very balanced skiers (sprint/distance, classic/skat...

Beware of https://ixcski.weebly.com

Users beware of https://ixcski.weebly.com (crosscountryski.us). I've been using it for 2-years without any issues but today it loaded a trojan onto my iPad. When you visit the video link its always a .ru website...I guess I got what I deserved?

I wonder how US skiers do in running... or what happens when you compare other nation running. doe run results predict ski results?
I recall Noah Hoffman was an excellent 5K runner (14:xx).

Re: World Cup 2018/2019

about the athleticism... i'd like to know about the basic stats for skiers. how do they do in biking, running, calisthenics? i suppose those are separate sports... but i'd like to see how WC skiers do with the NENSA or Canadian Fitness test w pull-ups, push-ups, dips, box jumps, etc. ...maybe their...

Thanks for that. I was also thinking a combi/skiathlon boot would be better.
