Re: Road rage against rollerskiers

Here is an example of a Swedish car driver that thinks roller skiers are idiots. He writes under the video: "One has to be very stupid in the head if one roller skis in the middle of summer in 26 degrees C."

Re: Ole-Einar Bjørndalen retires at 44

About microwave radiation, we've all felt its effect getting 'burned' ear when using phone and we all see what happens to food in the micro cooker, but I'm still doubtful background radiation will cause real health issues. That depends on how strong the background radiation is. The natural backgrou...

Re: Ole-Einar Bjørndalen retires at 44

I wonder if his problem has been brought on by too much training over the years ? I talked with a lady who has a lot of insight into microwave radiation effects on the human body, and she said that the many heart problems among athletes the latest years are most certainly linked to microwave exposu...

Tucking would give a little static training and it is also a part of skiing technique.

Re: Skierg with Rollerskis?

Another option (which I've done) is to wear slideboard booties while using the skierg. They can be a bit slippery for DPing but you can get a fairly realistic kick-double pole going while wearing them. I'll skierg to a 50K classic race on YouTube and just do the same technique I'm watching. If they...

I agree. I wonder what Therese could do in a 10 000 m track race.

What does D1 mean here?

Re: Alpina Racing Roller Ski Boots

From what I can tell - Alpina's new R-series (RCL, RSK, RCO) is their new entry level line. I think they replace the older S-line (grey/silver). The prices look good. Alpina's racing series (ESC, ECL) has been available for a few seasons - I don't see any changes for 2018. However, Fischer has a ne...

Yes, this flipping has been discussed. I would like to see it at least tested. Even FS, CL, FS, CL or any other combination would be possible.

Re: Johannes Høsflot Klæbo makes custom rollerski with IDT

I saw the article but couldn't make head nor tail of it. Are they getting rid of the any return ratchet and adding something that is based on your kick to stop the return, more like a real classic ski? Didn't someone here talk about something similar? Yes, it is unclear what they are trying to do. ...

Re: Prolink Boot with Turnamic Binding

Like already said above, the binding/boot interfaces of Prolink and Turnamic are compatible. I think it is quite stupid that NNN2 is not only the open domain standard for this interface but also a registered trademark of Rottefella. Otherwise, all NNN2 compatible products could be marked with NNN2 s...
