Gregg's Wife donated the funds for the shelter construction and a few friends got the hand carved cedar sign from a place over in Minnesota and hung it up.

Skied at "THE MOUND" yesterday afternoon with Chris M another Forum member...Was my first time skiing there...beautiful scenery, and nice trails...I liked the idea of the interpretive trail with the signage explaining a little bit about forest management etc....I'll be down again to ski......

DING DING DING.....WE HAVE A WINNER.....

They put a squarish type hole in a tree rather than a round hole that you'd expect and really peck the crap out of a tree...

They're about twice-2-1/2 times larger than an average woodpecker...about the size of a crow/raven.....

climb in the Vuelta is the Angliru used in Stage 13 of the Vuelta this year and has been used in the past as well...pros using triples and chainrings of 30 or 32 teeth and rear sprockets of 25 or more.
