I was on the 20 mile on Sunday and the conditions are icy crusty. Still good for touring. I suspect Turnagain Pass Center Ridge is good as well.

there is a groomed track on XY lake now, and one at Fish Lake. We skied up the Su River from Talkeetna and had a great time. Fantastic views of Denali, snowmachiners slow down to pass or stay way out of your way, really a great time. http://www.funhog.us/ttips/0607/NBSkijorDenali.jpg

I put on my metal edged touring skis, skins and headed up the cat track. Catch the knob on your right for great views, then ski along the ridge. Its kind of fun to meet your friends in the trees :) There was 2 or 3 inches of pow on a crusty base so skiing was fun. My complaint about the train is how...

I am definitely the bc kind of guy leading bc tours for the NSAA in Anchorage. Most of what I get online I find at telemarktips.com but that is lacking with their focus downhill turns....
