Toko Gripspray

Postby Jon44 » Sun Mar 01, 2015 6:15 am

I've heard two anecdotal reports that Gripspray serves as a grip wax that functions between hard wax and klister. Anyone have experience with these?

Thanks, Jon

(And to be clear, I'm not talking about the green base wax, but the different "colored" gripsprays that "work in all ski conditions)

They are basically klister in a can that sprays on using alcohol that then evaporates. Many companies make this option. They can work in a quick pinch but there are some drawbacks.
They are not as durable
The spray will go on sidewalls or wax benches etc.
They don't have as great of a range as regular waxes.

Personally I would rather just use hard waxes and klisters but to each their own.
