Did not think it was possible.

I have a pair of Racing classic 9 profil boots(grey ones) that I bought mail order that were a little bit big. Bean in the closet for years thought about selling but would never get what I think they are worth or close to what I paid. They are almost new. So I decided to start using them.Long story short was skiing in a conservation area (multi use trails) and crashed hard going down a hill .Damn horses.
Anyhow the metal bar at the toe bent and twisted considerably. The boots are pretty well junk now. I tried to straighten the bar out but some of the plastic is torn also. Ow well $250 bucks down the tube. :toimonster:
Any one have this happen with profil boots? First fail for me with this great system for classic.

Yep. This happened to me. It's quite a few years ago now but I was skiing on a groomed trail that made a series of tight downhill turns. Tried to do Telemark turns on that run and after two I missed a turn and crashed. Bent the bar and had to replace the boots.
