There is a new movie "Birkebeinerne". For some reason the English
title is "The Last King" !! The story of the rescue of Haakon Haakonsson
(ca 1205)

From the trailer I was reminded of the 1987 Sami movie
"Ofelas" (Pathfinder). Not surprising, they are both directed by Nils Gaup,
and set in roughly the same time period.
