Rowers

Any of you using a rower?
I'm thinking: about the same $ as a new pair of skis, which, generally, seems to be of very little help.
I'm thinking of a Concept2, same company that sells the ski erg.

Rower here - at least a former sculler. The C2 rowing ergometer is the best investment you'll make. If you have a weak back or inflexible hips I'd recommend getting the dynamic C2 rower or the normal C2 rower + slides.

I use a Concept 2 rower as part of my winter XC training. Excellent investment.
