Best way to take corners in tracks?

Post by Neuro » Mon Mar 05, 2018 6:36 am

When outside tracks, most pressure should of course be on the outside ski, but if I do that in the tracks, I've had that ski leave the track so the best seems to be to divide the pressure a bit, but not really sure.

And if so, by how much? And do I put one leg in front of the other or should they be parallel? Should I lean back a bit so the tips have it easier to make the turn?

This is of course for those steep parts where it's borderline.

in tracks i weight them equally.

I do what I do in biking: I lean to the inside and rotate my torso to the inside and push my hands to the inside of the corner. And I look to the exit of the corner.
