how sweet is carbon?

Postby JeffOYB » Mon Jan 21, 2019 7:36 pm

carbon poles are awesome. hands down.

is carbon a game-changer in other aspects of skiing? or is it nth degree micro improvements?

carbon skis... carbon boots... are they a big deal? are they a lot lighter than the others. and transfer energy a lot better?

...would you ever go back?

no way wd i use aluminum or glass poles again. bamboo still has its occasional place.

The carbon part of skate boots is rock solid. The alternative plastic is almost a joke the way they flex. And the stiffness really helps, especially for beginners.
