AFAIK, the speed is decided by the rubber compound and rated by number 1-4, where 1 is the fastest and 4 slowest. Not sure what mine are except that they are standard. Is it 2?

Seems an ideal speed for my uphill course so that not all is double poling, but for skating I would like a faster wheel, should I ever replace them. Skating is just too tiring on my rough course, even on a flat (at least with the Jenex), so should be more easy and fun IMO. Like perfectly prepped skis on fast snow.. 8)

Been getting good use of the new skis. I really like them a lot. Now that I'm friendly with them I can stride almost like with snow skis on tracks and they also skate so well.

Very stable and to not have tingling feet anymore thanks to the damping is a relief.

Don't feel so naked without brakes now that I'm used to it, and appreciate the weight saved.

Lots of snow forecast for tomorrow so today might have been the last outing of the year.
