poles for rollskis?
do you use different poles with your rollski equipement or do you just add the rubber things to them?
you can use your normal 'snow' poles if you wish but you'll need to change the tips/ basket. rollerski pole tips are hardened steel (tungsten?) and very sharp to allow them to dig into the pavement. the tip is also set deeper into it's housing to cope with the extra strain. they also have no basket.
your normal winter tips will go blunt and wear down very very quickly.
if getting new poles, get the same size as you have for the snow, the fact that they don't sink into the ground compensates for the extra height of being on rollers.
