New Brit aboard

Post by DghSpanishWelsh » Thu Feb 07, 2013 11:28 am

Hi there,

I'm new here. I'm a 40 year old lawyer from Cardiff, Wales. A few years ago got hooked on biathlon, wanted to ski, as I live in a place where we get a few cms of snow every few years had to be rollerskiing. Took a bit of time to get the hang of it, but now can rollerski with at least minimal competence. Hoping to do Engadin before too long (and to get Marit Bjoergen-esque abs one day 8) )

Have had the good fortune to become friendly with Spanish biathlete Victoria Padial Hernandez, had a lesson from her, thanks to which progressed from just double-poling to skating.

Usually rollerski at weekends, with a run and maybe a bike ride or row in the week.

Am in the UK now. Used to be in Estepona. Visit Almeria regularly, wife from there.
