Local October skiing?!

Postby trango » Sun Oct 11, 2009 7:12 am

2-4" accumulation expected Monday in the Twin Cities. 5-7" in areas around Alexandria/Wilmar/St. Cloud.

Who'da thunk?

I wonder how long it will stick.

Not long. Temps are going to be back in the 40's next week. But there might be enough for some rock skiing on a mowed park or trail. There's nothing here in NC WI.

Rain is predicted later in the week, too.

Hopefully I'll get in a ski after work, then back to rollerskiing...

I wasn't quick enough to get a few strides in during the 30 minutes we had snow last week:

Here in southern Wisconsin, we may get an inch or two tonight.

Yeah! :-)
