It's been unusual in that this fall seems fairly normal for 20 years ago. So, we got about 2-3 inches of snow overnight and the high temp today was something like 22F. It's really the cold temps that are allowing the various areas to make snow quickly. So the Birkie Trial, Mora (I assume), Mount Itasca, Elm Creek and Wirth are making snow. I don't know about Hyland. There should also be a strong lake effect snow for the UP of MI. This is quite a change from 60 F temps in the end of November in 2012. So, the new snow also seems to suggest a short offseason since we had snow late last spring.
