Dog Friendly Trails in the Cascades?

Post by Amuzed2pieces » Mon Dec 31, 2012 1:18 pm

We are fan of the Snow Parks, and officially, no dogs are welcome. But every trip out, there are lots of dogs on the trails. Given, these are the trails that are only partially groomed for a combination of sno-shoes, XC Skis and snow-mobiles.

We can agree that dogs are not welcome in the fully groomed trails where tracks are cut.

So far, downtown Leavenworth is OK, and Crystal Springs because of the dog sledding trails (it would be hard to have dog sledding without dogs). Gold Creek has as many dogs as people.

Are their any other partially groomed trails or areas where dogs are OK or accepted? I am guessing its on a park by park basis, on multi use trails where there is no damage to the track.
