6 inches in Anchorage

Postby tsktsk » Fri Dec 01, 2006 9:03 pm

We just got 4-6 inches in Anchorage. The skiing is mighty fine but it will be better once NSAA starts to groom it. First high school races and Anchorage sprint cup races this weekend will have very good trails.

No more snow

There is no more snow in Anchorage anymore. With 40 degree temps there is barely enough snow to ski on. The forecasters say that there is a chance of snow for the next week, yet we were supposed to get snow for the last week and we just got rain yesterday. :(

Really snowed buckets the past couple of days!!! El Niño winter we've been promised may be happening finally. Groomers really doing a great job keeping up and just got out to Eagle River trails this afternoon.

Longer days starting ...... well, now.

woo-hoo!

:D
