Autumn XC Skiing

Thinking about going somewhere in October/November for some early season skiing. I know some of the Glaciers in the Alps have XC tracks, where would be best to go? I'm based in Switzerland, but Les Diablerets only open their tracks "on request", I'm guessing that means for pro teams etc. Austria, France or Italy would be great.

Tignes is the only place in France, they generally have a circuit for clubs in the autumn when they reopen in October.

You can see the XC trails here, right at the bottom of the glacier:-

there was some fresh snow on the glaciers yesterday

Glacier 3000 should also have XC skiing open ... try-skiing
