Lance should be in surgery right about now. No Livestrong hospital gown? :D

I like Lance. Many cyclists I know don't.
This is not good for Lance anyway you cut it. If he goes to the tour and doesn't do well, there will be many opponents of his comeback extolling the virtues of how he should have stayed retired. They will use a poor showing at the tour to justify these comments.

We all can pretty much assume his whole comeback success story will lean on the Tour performance. Not a very fair way of judging a comeback if you ask me.

Many people will say a tour win is out of the question for Lance then promptly add "but I think he can take a stage or two". If they believe he can take a stage or two it's kinda like saying "don't count him out".

I think Lance knows what he's up against. So.....go Lance go.
I think he can still do it. If he doesn't win the tour or look sharp while out there,my money's on him for a run at the Vuelta and the worlds possibly.

I figure a comeback should be a two year thing. If Lance was in pretty good shape last summer (before the comeback), then I think he has a chance. The guy has amazing genetics and motivation...
