Rained out

Postby MN Hoser » Wed Nov 10, 2010 9:57 pm

Got caught in a thunderstorm tonight. There's snow skiing at Trollhaugen, but I'm riding throught a downpour. It was a road ride, and normally I get a little warning. The radar looked like light rain. Normally, I get a few rain drops, then some more, then a light rain, etc. This was a few drops and then outright rain, then sheets.

30 min of clean up after the ride.

A boss one time described a tough situation to me as a "Growth experience" my unspoken response was "I'm tall enough". Same thought here on "Building character"

I'm already a character. (Sorry for being obvious.)

Riding in the rain

Daytime temps are mid 30's to mid 40's here so I have switched over to the bike trainer. Seems crazy--I can ski down to zero with several light layers, but with the wind chill on a bike some part of me always seems to get cold no matter how much I put on.
