Butter barter

Postby LewLasher » Sun Dec 18, 2011 11:47 am

As you may have heard, Norway has been having a severe shortage of butter.

If you live in a dairy-producing region, and you had the opportunity to send a generous portion of butter to Norway, what would you like to get in return?

That's odd. Butter's super cheap here in Holland.
You export some oil, you import some butter. Seems like good business.
I can send a pallet of butter in return for a pallet of Madshus skis and supplies.

Another odd thing.
Imagine a typical family car, new in the showroom.
I betcha it costs less, per kg, than medium quality cheese. I still can't wrap my head around that.

If I had any butter to spare, I'd gladly give it up in return for some snow.
