what about the salomon EXTRA STIFF skin skis?

anyone know about these? i only weigh 180 and want to lose some... but i could wear a pack! : )

Rather choose skin skis on the soft side is the advice from these testers which I agree with since grip is not all that amazing so you want to make sure they are in good contact with the snow. But then you don't want the skin dragging either so better go to a top shop and get skis measured and picked just for your weight and style. The extra you pay for this compared to at an internet shop is worth it IMO as the enjoyment is so much more when this is right. I guess it's like going skiing with perfectly prepped skis and you know how lovely that can be.
