OK, who's the doofus at Exel?

Postby Askel » Sun Dec 09, 2007 10:40 am

Ever since picking up skate last year, I've been completely frustrated with my pole straps- I just couldn't get comfortable in them no matter what I tried. So I went out yesterday with some determination to resolve this issue no matter what it cost.

So I try on the first set of poles I find...

"Hey these fit great!"

"Hey these straps look just like mine."

"Hey they're on backwards."

"Hey no they're not."

Yes, the staps on my poles are mislabled. The right is left and the left is right. Once you get over that little hurdle, they fit just fine. :D

Who ever buys mislabeled poles? I'm no expereinced skater, but I do notice when Exels are on backwards :D
Glad to hear your skiing became so much nicer, at zero additional cost.
Go ask Exel about, they may be able to cut you a deal on correctly labeled straps. Like a trade, rare mislabeled ones for boring latest model ones.

Save those mislabeled ones.

They will be worth a fortune on e-bay sometime in the future.

Put them on your buddy's poles when he's not looking. ;)
