Atomic Beta RS skate skis

Postby TheProdigalCyclist » Sun Jan 25, 2015 5:52 pm

I'm going to try a pair of Atomic Beta RS 10 skate skis out tomorrow night. I think this model is about 10 years old, but I'm not sure. The skis were barely used. Can anyone shed some light on how these skis compare to today's skis?

That ski would be very similar to Salomon's RS skate ski by today's standards. It's a nice ski, but I would make sure the camber is still good.

Thanks, Nick. I was actually considering the RS. I can get a pro deal on Salomon, but at least with these I can try them before I buy them. And even with the price on the Salomons, the Atomics wouls till be considerably cheaper. The camber seems pretty strong, but I didn't get out tonight to test them. Trying again for tomorrow. Any idea how the weights compare?

The nice thing about pro deals is that you can often buy them, ski on them for a couple years and sell them for more than you bought them for.
