I thought I had read that he was trying to attain Canadian Citizenship, and make the Canadian ski team--as such, having a resume against NA racers, as well as name recognition would be useful.

The man is a machine......

I. Babikov is still trying to get Canuck citizenship, he's been trying for a few years. Since he still maintains Ruski citizenship seems he's been splitting his time racing for Subaru Factory here in North American and sometimes racing for the Russian national team on the World Cup.

I think he's a pretty solid top 20 World Cup skier, an excellent measuring stick for North Americans to race against.
