I saw Bonnie Blair do some running during some summer dryland training. Not that beautiful of a stride either, but I guess it didn't matter though, did it? :-P

I'm so bummed that women always get shorter race courses, for whichever vague reason, disallowing us to know how the likes of Neuner would do in a men's worldcup field.
My estimates put her in front of some male biathletes that do it for a living.

Seriously, had she been American (just for convenience, no offence) she could probably be a useful first skier in the men's relay. So awesome.

She drew Bib #1 in this morning's Fort Kent Sprint -- 10:30 AM CST. With #1 she should get a bunch of camera time.

Lately, it seems her skiing is on form, but she hasn't shot well enough to win. Tora Berger is skiing really well, too ... Neuner doesn't have more than one penalty to give her, if that.
