Screw Pattern and Balance Point for Pro-Link Bindings
I know I could figure this out myself by comparing my skis with NNN bindings with my skis with Salomon SNS bindings but in Googling Pro-Link mounting I repeatedly was directed back to here but with no real answer to my question, which is; do the new Pro Link bindings mount with the balance point at that of the old SNS bindings or with the balance point of NNN bindings? Switching out from SNS to all NNN but I'd like to be able to just unscrew the SNS's and screw in the Pro Links without filling and redrilling. I suspect that I won't be that fortunate.

You will be that fortunate. Prolink bindings have the same screw pattern and balance point placement as SNS bindings.

Magnus is correct. I just changed my skate skis from a Profil binding to a Prolink binding. Screw holes were in the same location all the way through the sole plate. Be careful putting on the new binding and make sure the holes in the ski are not stripped.

Ralph -- Did you put new glue in the screw holes?

I used a wood glue. All scores held pretty tight except one. I put some steel wool around the screw to make it hold tighter.

So far only experience with Prolink bindings is that opening lever part is very long and it hits my waxing stand frame making ski attachment difficult. I already trimmed the lever a bit to make opening possible.
